libEBML v1.2.2 and libMatroska v1.3.0 released

The Matroska team has released libebml v1.2.2 and libmatroska v1.3.0. These releases fix several smaller bugs.

libebml 1.2.2 should be binary compatible with the previous release, v1.2.1. libmatroska v1.3.0 is not binary compatible with v1.2.0. Therefore its soname has been increased again.

Binary packages for Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora Core and OpenSuSE will be available at http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/downloads.html These only include static versions of the libraries, they're not required for building MKVToolNix at the moment as it includes its own copy of the two libraries.

I've released mkvtoolnix v5.0.0. It contains support for MPEG transport streams and fixes several smaller bugs.

All binaries that I provide myself have already been uploaded.

I've released mkvtoolnix v5.0.1. It's a release with a few improvements/bug fixes and one important fix for a regression introduced in v5.0.0 regarding PGS subtitles.

Dropping support for various distributions & and versions

I'm dropping support for several versions of Linux distributions. These are:

Fedora Core before 15
openSuSE before 12.1
Debian before "Wheezy" (meaning all current releases)
CentOS/Red Hat Enterprise Linux (all versions)
Ubuntu before 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot"

The reason is that the next release of MKVToolNix, v5.1.0, will require certain features of the C++11 feature set that only gcc v4.6 and newer support. The aforementioned distributions only ship older versions of gcc that don't support the required features.

I've released MKVToolNix v5.2.0. It's a release with a few improvements/bug fixes and one important fix for a regression introduced in v5.1.0 regarding the MIME type of TrueType fonts.

I've released MKVToolNix v5.2.1. It corrects a nasty inconsistency regarding track IDs between mkvmerge and mkvextract, improves performance on Linux quite a bit by not caching data twice and fixes a few smaller issues here and there.
